PDF download for hand-knit Sonata Shawl pattern.
A Sonata is an instrumental composition with three or four movements differing in rhythm and mood but related in key. This elongated diamond-shaped shawl is constructed tip to tip and features two opposing areas of color and four distinct stitch patterns. The Icord edge, garter stitch, weave pattern, and eyelets work in concert to create a piece that looks the same on the right and wrong sides. Depending on the wearer’s mood, this shawl can be folded lengthwise to highlight one color or the other.
There is NO Intarsia or picked-up stitches in this project.
Dimension (after blocking): approximately 62″ long and 25″ center (unfolded)
