Felted Box

Description

This box is knit in the round using two strands of yarn held together in different color combinations throughout the project.  The framework features a sturdy base, corner, and top edge construction.  This stitch patterns not only create a dense fabric but also provide for easier shaping after the felting process.  This box can stand alone or fit around a 6-inch square vase.

Dimension (after felting):  approximately 6.75″ square and 4/5″ tall.

Yarn:  approximately 300-370 yards of worsted weight animal-fiber yarn that has NOT been superwashed.
